Hi Chetan,
This application was built in a very old version of Blend and doesn't work anymore, it would take a fair bit of work to correct the issues. http://agkdesign.wordpress.com/2009/01/28/skate-box-4000/ uses the same techniques and is in a current version if you would like the source for that? Let me know.
Thank

Hi Alex, great tutorial! We need more of these - tutes for designers not developers.

A couple of tips (I couldn't help myself).
- To make the reversed Alex_off storyboard you could have selected the Alex_on storyboard, then selected 'Duplicate' and 'Reverse' on the drop-down menu next to the 'New Storyboard' (+) button. (It's hard to find, I know.) To do that you need initial keyframes (at time 0) for all the elements being animated (bascially 'Reverse' just flips around all the keyframes).
- You could also make the pic elements in Expression Design (but hey, PhotoShop is good too!). In Design, import your pic, then duplicate it and blur and desaturate it (effects). Then duplicate it again, trace around the target with the pen tool (or try 'Trace Image' - you never know) then use the new path to clip your 3rd copy of the pic. Now you have 3 pics: focussed, blurred and clipped. (Make another clipped pic for your other target.) Export them all as Silverlight XAML and import them into Blend. If you just set the opacity of a clipped image to 0 it will still detect mouse events - so you don't need a separate target shape this way. Make sense?

Thanks for the tutorial!
