Hi Dave,
Are you using the Silverlight 2 or 3 Deep zoom composer? They are a little different from each other in the way things export.

I would highly recommend using the Silverlight 3 Deep zoom composer and if you are using this already, this is probably where your running into a lot of your troubles (this tutorial is for Silverlight2 DZC). With the SL3 DZC, when you export your project, it will sit inside the project folder (where you first saved the project) under exported data.

Once it has been exported, go to your project folder. In there should be 3 folders and a ProjectName.dzprj file. Click into the Exported Data folder and again into the folder with the name of your export.

In there you should find your HTML and XAP files for the project (ignore the preview.html file, it's not needed). Open up your HTML file in note pad and you should find a similar piece of HTML code as above, you can copy and paste that into other sites now as long as your have the path to the XAP file correct. Or you can just use that HTML file along with the XAP as your web page online.

Hope this has cleared it up for you, if your still having trouble just give me another yell..

Thanks Dave

I apologize for my last comment. Instead of venting I should just have just asked for your help. I can't seem to find a file called "Client Bin" anywhere in my exported Deep Zoom Composer files. Do you have any idea why I might not have a client bin?

My directory seems to stop at "source images." It just doesn't go any deeper than that. My "Exported Data" and "Working Data" files appear empty. And my "source images" folder instead of allowing me to burrow deeper into (OutputSdi\Outputname\DeepZoomOutput.sln), the file only contains my source image and a file called "Mosaic Web Page."

Agh, again as with every other tutorial, the writer assumes the reader knows everything about HTML. I might be wrong but everything up until this point seems very intuitive, but every tutorial describes in detail the steps required leading up to the HTML step, and then skips the most complicated part.

I'm sorry to vent on you, it's a horrible thing to do. please don't take this as a personal attack, I am just frustrated. Thank you very very much for sharing all you do on your blog.

I have downloaded the latest june2009 version for DZC .. and now though it gives the option of creating a Silverlight DeepZoom project.. it does not create it for me.. i.e. no VS sln file is visible.. can you help me figure out what is wrong??
